Join Equality Arlington and the Arlington Community Foundation as for our Trans Youth Quilt Project Assembly Day on Saturday, March 7 from 1-4 PM at Clarendon Presbyterian Church. Community members and allies are invited to help stitch together quilt squares made by local trans youth expressing their "freedom to be" while listening to the experiences of trans community members. Snacks will be provided! Equality Arlington has been working on a Trans Youth Quilt Project to give trans youth a safe and joyful way of being seen and provide an opportunity to build community and awareness in the broader community through a collaborative creation process.
